8in1 American Children's Book Characters Crochet Pattern Bundle

Directions were easy to follow but I wish there was some guidance in attaching the pieces. I ended up gluing them. I’m going to try to reinforce with stitching. I had to put the directions for the eyes 👀 to Chat GPT because I was confused but that is my inexperience.

Very easy instructions to follow. Love the results. Definitely making a few of these for possible teacher day gifts :)

Loved the patterns I received from
Hooktasy. The patterns were easy to read for a relatively new crocheter like myself!

Let me start by saying that once these projects are done they are super cute and I love them. That being said, the patterns are a little hard to follow at times- especially for a beginner. The black parts on the pigeon and the elephant was not clear. Luckily I am intermediate and can figure things out on my own, but I didn't really pay for a pattern to have to do that. I want to make sure that you read ALL the instructions carefully before starting as some of the instructions are a little confusing, along with some typos that made things a bit confusing. I recommend this project to intermediate to advanced crocheters- not beginners.

I found some of this pattern confusing but the owner was very helpful and responded to all my questions quite quickly. I am pleased with my finished Bad Seed but I think the pattern needed some adjustments.

Easy pattern to follow and assemble. I used a smaller yarn and hook to make a smaller version of each, though my piggie was pretty much the same size as my elephant. Fun to create these book characters!

I havent had a chance to work patterns but they look like they are easy to follow

I loved these photos of the patterns! Some (give a mouse a cookie) were a flash back for me and others my kids were so excited for me to make. However, I can't give a 5 out of 5 as there are issues in most of the patterns. In the Mouse pattern, there is no information about making the straps for the overalls or the tail. In the Bad Seed pattern, the first round had the incorrect number of stitches in places. As an experience crocheter, I noticed these and made adjustments but for new crocheters, it may be hard to figure out what is wrong. Ultimately, I'm happy with the patterns but made plenty of notes if I make them again in the future.

Overall the pattern for the pigeon was easy to follow, but there coukd have been an explanation of how to join the pigeon’s back to head. Also the black ring aroubd neck. Is it crocheted or hot glued?? There us no explanation.
Tfe pigeon is the only pattern inhave tried.
